    Textured plush

This is usually one of the more common types of carpet. It is cut so all the lengths of yarn in the carpet are the same. This is one of the most widely used carpets in people’s homes because it can be used with almost any kind of decoration. It is great for areas of your home that have high use, such as the dining room or living room.

    Saxony

This type of carpet is very soft and thick because it has been through a softening process after being woven. The yarns are all the same length but have varying twists. The thick carpet yarns are first woven tightly together so they form a hard twist, after which the yarns are then softened with heat creating the soft thick final result. With it being such a thick type of carpet,it is ideal for those rooms that you would like to keep warmer, such as bedrooms or bathrooms.

    Cut and Loop Pile

This type of carpet has a couple of cuts used in the yarn, and there is a cut pile and a loop. This creates a varying texture on the carpet and can be used to create different patterns. This carpet comes in a wide variety of colors, making it easy to match the decor of any room.

    Berber Loop Pile

This style of carpet is very durable when it comes to wearing because of the fact that the yarn tips are not exposed. The weave is whole loops, meaning the fibers get worn on the sides, therefore leaving the twist and tips not exposed tp wear. It tends to have a rougher surface than the cut piles, but is great for places with high traffic volume.
